My English is very poor, I cannot read English articles. So writing and reading become more better of myself.
English thinking is different from Chinese. It Very objective for me, If I write in English, Maybe my writing
will not be disturbed by emotion. Chinese books and translation can no longer satisfy me. I want to understand
the latest English works.

What’truth
We keep arguing about what truth really is.
And, most of the time, we insist that what we know is the truth.
But in the end, what is the sound of truth?
Waves on a beach? The laugh of a child?
Or perhaps there competing truths?
The truth of the mind and the truth of the heart.
If all the apples are bruised, then it’s the unbruised apple that is bad,
the sane one who is crazy.
For what is normal is that upon which nice wise people can agree,
leaving the tenth to swing from a hangman’s rope.
Yeah, it all gets physiological now.
What we can see now is that maybe we are not always as right as we think we are.
Sometimes we are not as rational as we think we are.
And when most people are wrong, that real right one can be condemned wrong.
So, remember, don’t judge that easily, ‘cause you may be wrong even when nearly everybody
around thinks the same as you do.
Listen to the silence. Help the world be better, so that you won’t one day be the same one hanging from the tree.
Silence must be heard.
Share right
It’s good to share, right? Growing up as kids we are told to share our toys and not
be selfish. We also live in an age where discussing our feelings is encouraged. But when
does it all become too much? With new crazes trending all the time, such as dance
challenges and wearing a pillow as a dress, the question is: When can sharing become
oversharing on social media?
What’s oversharing? The term has become associated with social media, but it isn’t exclusive
to platform. Imagine you head to a party and you meet someone. Within five minutes they have
divulged intimate details about their life. While some of us may try to escape these people,
accoring to marriage therapist Carolyn Cole, this form of oversharing could come form a strong
desire to connet with someone. But how does this translate to social media?
Dr Christoper Hand, a lecturer in cyberpsychology, says the more details poples disclose, the less
Sympathy we express when things go wrong. This could be due to a belief that we attract our
own negative experiences the more we share them. It seems that sadfishing, the idea of searching
for sympathy by oversharing, is generally perceived as negative rather than the cry help it could
actually be.
However, Dr Hand’s research also seems to suggest that the more we post on a platform, the more
socially attractive we become-provided that the posts that we bang out are positive. Even back in 2015,
Gwendolyn seidman PhD, said that we should avoiding whining and being negative online. We should also
steer clear of showing off, bragging or flexing, as it’s now known - especially about our love lives.
It makes sense - if your date is going ‘that well’, would you really have time to share a photo with text?
So,how can you know if you are oversharing? Well, why not ask your friends in real life. They
would probably be more than happy to tell you if your posts about your breakfast or gripes about
your lack of money really are too much.
Stay away from gossip
There is saying that who you socialize with defines who you are.
I find is very inspiring.
Find a healthier socializing way.
Don’t fall into the pit of gossip, especially not in office.
The reason some people participate in workplace gossip in the first place isthat they are afraid of being isolated.
If this is exactly your situation, then you are drinking poison to quench thirst.
One of the worst things of workplace gossip is that is does not have much logic,
Particpants simply hope that other people will recognize their opinions
so that they themselves can get emotional statisfaction.
People who share the same opinions as them are friends, otherwise they are enemies.
Whether the gossip concerns the family life of a colleague or private life of a celebrity,
it is essentially the same.
Such kind of socializing will not give you any chance if self-imporovement.
Instead, it may lead you to a moral abduction.
It would be better for you to take some courses and learn skills that interest you on your spare time.
Or you can join some hobby groups and meet like-minded people.
There goes an old saying: We would rather fight with a sensible person than argue with an idiot.
Why go to Mars?
It sounds likes something from the realms of science fiction - a space expedition into the vast
expanse of space, heading towards the Red Planet. While we’re not quite ready to put a person
on terra firma, the question we ask today is: Why are so many countries interested in going to Mars?
The space race saw the USA and USSR compete to achieve firsts in spacefilght. The Soviet Union
released Sputnik 1, an artificial satellite, before anyone else, and the US landed on the Moon first.
Now it appears that Mars is the celestial body of desire. While the kudos and bragging rights to
be the first nation to touchdown is an obvious draw, there are other reasons we want to get there.
One of these could be the survival of our species. You only have to look at the fossilised remains
of dinosaurs to see the benefit of finding another habitable plant. While Mars doesn’t have the right
conditions to call it home just yet. there’s always the concept of terraforming - changing the environment
of a plant to suit our need.
However, not everyone agrees. Leading astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has said the concept of altering
habitabliity of another planet because of the damage we have done to Earth makes no sense when we can
simply terraform Earth.
It seems the main reason at the moment is the search of extraterrestrial life. It has long been believed
that, at one time, Mars was abundant with life. Now seemingly dead, the potential fossils could answer
questions about our own evolution and that of our planet. One theory is that bacterical life on our planet
did’t start here, but was transferred via asteroid for Mars.
One benefit champopned by scientists like Neil deGrasse Tyson is that landing on Mars may inspire more
people to interested in science and astronomy. Surely inspiring a new generation to visit the stars is reason
enough.

spirit of innovation
Hi, everybody. One of the things that makes America so strong is our spirit of innovation.
Our drive to invent and harness new technologies to tackle our greatest challenges. It’s how
we won the race to invent the lightblub and the Internet; It’s why we were first to the Moon and Mars.
It’s why I keep models of American inventions like the telegraph in the Oval Office. It’s daily
reminder of the genius that’s embedded in our DNA; the way we’ve always shaped the future through
our ideas and discoveries.
That’s truer than ever today, with the constant stream of new apps and tools and data that
are still changing the way we live-from getting a ride to paying our bills to developing smarter
ways to combat climate change.
That’s why, next week, I’ll travel to Austin, Texas, to visit South by Southwest. It’s an annual
gathering of some of our most creative thinkers, coders, makers, and entrepreneurs from across
the country. And while I’m there, I’m going to ask everyone for ideas and technologies that can
help update our government and our democracy to be as modern and dynamic as America itself.
This has been a goal of mine since before I was President. On my campaign in 2008,
we saw how technology could bring people together and help them engage as citizens in their own
communities. So when I came to the White House, I wanted apply that experience to the
federal government. It hasn’t always been easy. And we’ve had some bumps along the way.
But we’ve alse made good progress. Over the past few years, for example, we’ve done something
that government never has. We asked some of the sharpest minds from companies Silicon Valley
and across the country to come help us modernize the federal government for the way we live
today. And they came read to serve, tackling some of our biggest challenges-like high-tech special
ops units.
These teams are partnering with the government’s existing policy and technical experts to re-imagine
the way we do business and deliver services that work better and cost less. Already,
we’ve made it easier for students to find the college that’s right for them. For immigrants to track
the green card and naturalization process online. For veterans to access their medical records.
And yes, after an initial false start, we’ve made it much easier for tens of millions of Americans to
compare and buy health insurance and the peace of mind that goes with it.
That’s what this is all about-making sure our government of the people and by the people works
better for the people in the 21st century. It’s about Americans working together to make a real
diffrence in people’s lives. Because the easiest thing to do is to blame government for our problems.
Some people have made a career out of that. But our founders trusted us with the keys to this
systerm if self-government becauser it’s the best tool we’ve got to settle our diffrencese and solve
our collective challenges. And it’s only as good as we make it.
That’s why I’m going to Austin and South by Southwest-to keep asking everyone from all walks of
life, working inside or outside of government, to help us make this democray even stronger. And I
hope you join us.
Thanks everybody, have a great weekend.
